Personalise a photo print

Take your time with each step. You can review your layout before moving on to checkout.

Choose a product and open the canvas
Open the product you want to personalise. On the product detail page, set Custom Photo to Yes to open the designer canvas, where the available photo and design tools are shown.
- Choose the right product and size before starting.
- Wait for the canvas and its controls to finish loading.
Helpful: The tools can differ depending on the product and personalisation options configured for it.

Upload or reuse a photo
Click the photo upload option. On the first upload, your device’s file picker may open directly. On later uploads, use the photo popup to upload another image or choose a previously uploaded thumbnail when available.
- Select a clear, high-resolution photo.
- Wait until the image appears on the canvas before moving it.
- Choose the crop that keeps faces and important details visible.
Remember: Only upload photos you own or have permission to print.

Add and position an overlay
If the product provides overlays, stickers, frames, or decorative elements, select one from the available options. It will appear on the design canvas so you can position it.
- Drag the body of the selected overlay to move it.
- Use its resize handles to adjust its size without covering important photo details.
- Check edges and corners so the overlay sits neatly inside the print area.
Design tip: Use overlays to complement your photo rather than hide the subject.

Add and edit text
Use the text tool to add a name, date, caption, or short message. Select the text on the canvas to edit its wording using the available inline editor or text controls.
- Click in the text to place the cursor and make your edits.
- Click and drag the text body—not a resize handle—to move its position.
- Use the corner or edge handles to resize it, then click outside the text to finish editing.
- Check spelling, letter spacing, and contrast against the photo.
Helpful: If a handle is selected, drag from the middle of the text area to move it instead.

Review the whole print
Before you finish, look at the entire canvas, not just the selected element. Make sure everything sits within the printable area and nothing important is clipped.
- Check every photo, overlay, text element, and crop.
- Make sure text is readable and not too close to the edges.
- Wait for any loading or saving indicator to complete.

Save or continue to checkout
Use the save, apply, continue, or add-to-cart option provided by the product designer. Follow any confirmation prompts, then check the product and order details in your cart before placing the order.
- Confirm the correct product, quantity, and price.
- Review delivery details and the final order summary.
- Keep your order number if you need support later.
Note: Save and checkout controls may have different names depending on the canvas setup.
Quick troubleshooting
A few useful checks
Photo is not appearing
Check that the upload has completed, choose the image again if needed, and wait for it to finish loading. If the issue repeats, refresh the product page and try another supported image file.
Text moves when you try to resize
Start the drag from the body of the text to move it. To resize, use a visible handle at the edge or corner. Make small adjustments and review the canvas after releasing the pointer.
Previous uploads are missing
Saved photo history can depend on being signed in to the same account and on how uploads were stored. Sign in to the account used before and reopen the photo picker.
